RECOGNISED TRAINING COMPANY
The majority of our employees are on board our pusher tugs. In order to train them as well as possible, from a regular seaman to skipper in the special pusher craft, Rederij de Jong is also a recognised training company for the programmes Matroos binnenvaart (Inland shipping Seaman), Schipper binnenvaart (Inland shipping Skipper) and Kapitein binnenvaart (Inland shipping Captain). In this way, the knowledge gained can be put to immediate practical use!
ENJOYABLE WORK
Seamen generally work week on/week off. We continuously invest to ensure our pusher tugs have every modern creature comfort. We also have excellent fringe benefits.
